it’s the process of removing contaminants from a raw water source(wate purification). (surface current ) water which extends 3-10 ft below the surface in nearshore areas, and about 33 ft in deepocean areas.that’s for oceanography if it’s what you are looking for. another definition is : any current whose maximum core speed is at or near the surface. you may wnt to use that definition since it is more general.
What, you can’t do your own homework…… water purification process depends on the contaminates but drives down to the removal of any contaminates from the water..how that’s done depends…. surface currents can be air or water (duh, which one) alternative energy…. solar, wind come to mind…..
